HR Administrator

Coillte have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our team.  The role involves responsibility for delivering a high quality and efficient HR administration service to the business, employees and the HR Department.

The ideal candidate will hold a third level qualification in Human Resource management with a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience in a busy HR department.   They will have strong working knowledge of HR legislation, with excellent IT skills with experience of Core HR a distinct advantage. 

The successful person must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience working to tight deadlines. In addition strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, planning and numerical skills and are a must.

Ecologist

Coillte have an exciting opportunity for an Ecologist to join our team. The role will involve BioClassification of the Coillte estate, by desk-reviewing biodiversity areas and evaluating their ecological characteristics.

The role involves responsibility for reviewing internal (Coillte) and external (NPWS, NBDC) information to support BioClassification of Coillte sites, providing input into finalising and documenting the procedure for BioClassification desk review and site assessment, liaising with BAU staff to identify and prioritise sites, conducting site assessments to BioClassify selected sites and collating returns from contract ecologists and report on progress.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant qualification in ecology or a related discipline with a minimum three years' experience in habitat assessment (preferably forests, woodlands and/or bogs). They will also have experience in accessing nature conservation information from recognised sources and preparing reports. Strong understanding of nature conservation and environmental legislation as it relates to forestry and previous experience in the use of imagery in habitat mapping would be an advantage.

The successful person must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint would be an advantage.

Employee Relations Manager

Coillte have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Manager to join our HR team. The role will involve responsibility for providing an employee-centred and generalist human resource service within the Division, that aligns both Business and Human Resource requirements while promoting high performance and best people and organisation practices.

The ideal candidate will hold a HR related degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a generalist HR role in a commercial operation.

They will have in-depth knowledge and experience across a number of HR disciplines including employee relations, talent management, people development, change management, performance management reward, and employee engagement.

Knowledge and experience of industrial relations including working through the various state dispute resolution agencies such as Labour Court is also a requirement.

The successful person must have excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills with demonstrable experience in building strong relationships with key trade union officials and representatives.

Assurance & Compliance Auditor

Coillte have an exciting opportunity for an Assurance and Compliance Auditor  to join our team. The successful candidate will provide strong, independent and objective assurance over the effectiveness of the control and governance processes across the Group.  The role will involve responsibility for conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures. 

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant or Qualified Internal Auditor with a minimum of three years’ experience in auditing, governance or compliance. 

They will have strong knowledge of current internal audit standards and methods and have the ability to work on own initiative with a committed and positive attitude.  The successful person must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and influence effectively at all levels. In addition strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and solid judgement are a must.
