Tuesday 9th December.
Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange wind warning for counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, Cavan, Monaghan, Clare, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, and all of Connacht.
Coillte advises all users of forest lands including its staff, contractors and members of the public, to exercise caution if entering forest lands during this weather warning as storm Bram moves through the country.
The warning remains in place from 07:17 Tuesday 09/12/2025 to 16:00 Tuesday 09/12/2025

Possible impacts include:
• Flooding of low-lying coastal areas, especially during high tide
• Wave overtopping
• Difficult travel conditions
• Debris, loose objects displaced
• Outdoor events impacted
Fallen and overhanging trees pose an extremely dangerous risk to the public and Coillte is urging everyone to remain vigilant and to exercise extreme caution if entering forest lands over the coming days. Members of the public should not approach fallen or overhanging trees as they pose a significant health and safety risk and access routes blocked by trees should only ever be cleared by trained experts.
