Coillte’s forests open for all to enjoy but users asked to adhere to HSE and Government guidelines

Monday May 10th 2021

Coillte’s forests and forest parks remain open, as the country moves into less stringent national Covid-19 restrictions.

We ask all visitors must adhere to HSE and Government guidelines, including social distancing measures when visiting our forests.

As we’ve all seen during COVID19, there are substantial health and wellbeing benefits from walking outdoors and exploring forests. Coillte has forests in every county in Ireland that can be enjoyed safely.

There are over also over 260 recreational forests and over 3,000kms of walking trails among our 6,000 forests nationwide not to mention six mountain bike trails and twelve forest parks.

Stay safe, follow the guidelines and protect each other.
