Coillte Public Consultation on its Draft Land Use Strategic Implementation Plan

In 2022 Coillte launched its strategic vision for the future management of its Forest Estate, aiming to deliver the multiple benefits of its forests for climate, nature, wood and people. Working towards realising this vision, in 2023 Coillte published the Forest Estate Land-Use Plan (FESLUP), which provides the framework to balance the delivery of the multiple uses of our forests until 2050.

Coillte has now prepared a new Strategic Plan: the draft Land Use Strategic Implementation Plan (LUSIP), which translates the objectives outlined in the FESLUP into implementable and measurable actions over the period 2026-2035.

Coillte is now inviting submissions on its draft plan, including the relevant environmental assessment documentation which supports the plan.

A copy of the draft plan, Strategic Environmental Assessment Report, and Appropriate Assessment Screening and Natura Impact Statement Report may be viewed on Coillte’s website by clicking this link
