President Connolly launches National Tree Week-1

Representatives from the Tree Council of Ireland, Coillte and Fingal County Council, alongside invited guests gathered at Newbridge House and Farm, Co. Dublin for the official opening of Ireland’s largest annual tree celebration. National Tree Week runs from the 8th - 15th of March an encourages. communities nationwide to celebrate and protect Ireland’s trees and forests. This year Coillte is donating 100,000 trees to support local planting initiatives, bringing its total contribution to more than 1 million trees since the partnership began.
