Overview

Ryan’s Bog or known locally to some as Pedder’s Hill, is a small forested area that runs along side the Boro River.

The woodland once formed part of the Castleboro Demesne.

Take the N30 from Enniscorthy to Clonroche and just before Beechdale garden centre take the right turn onto the R730 towards Courtnacuddy, the layby parking area for Ryan's Bog will be on your left hand side after approximately 5km.

There are 2 looped walks and a linier walk in the forest to enjoy:

Nature’s Way – Loop – 1.1 km – Moderate – 20 minutes

The Little Holly Road – Loop – 0.7 km – Moderate – 15 minutes

The Beautiful Walkway – Linier – 0.6 km – Moderate – 15 minutes
