Overview

Welcome to Oakport / Bluebell Wood. This is a 100 hectare (approx. 250 acre) diverse woodland, with lots of biodiversity, heritage and water features.

There is a waymarked walking trail and loads of forestry tracks throughout the property.

The main highlight is the inspiring array of Bluebells in spring/early summer which carpet the forest floor.

Take the R285 off the N4 about half way between Carrick on Shannon and Boyle.
