Overview

Welcome to Knockadrinna Wood a mixed woodland with plenty of biodiversity in both flora and fauna.

During the spring there are plenty of areas for the bluebells to flower and during the summer other wildflowers take over.

Directions: From Knocktopher take the R713 past Centra and shortly after take a left onto local road L8247 Barrettstown, follow this for approximately 2 km and the entrance to Knockadrinna wood will be on your right hand side.

Things to do

There is a waymarked looped walk in Knockadrinna Wood, to suit most.

Knockadrinna Wood Loop Walk – 4.5 km – 1 hour – Moderate – Green markers.

The loop will take you up hill to the top of the forest before descending back down through the forest to the car park.
