Overview
Please note – Kilfane wood is still a work in progress and we still have to install way markers and map board, but we hope you enjoy your visit on the new trail network.
Kilfane wood is lovely Coillte BIO forest managed for Biodiversity. A short walk through the woods and its mixture of tree species, beech, oak, ash and various conifers, will bring you to a footbridge over a vibrant stream running through the property.

Things to do
The Kilfane Wood Loop Walk – Moderate – Green markers – 2.5 km – 1 hour.
This relatively short looped walk brings you through the property and under the canopy of beech trees, stream crossings and benches along the way to rest and enjoy the tranquillity of the forest.
