Overview

Welcome to Brandon Hill and forest, home to Kilkenny’s highest peak, with 360 degree panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Take the R705 ring road out of Graiguenamanagh towards The Rower, just past the fire station turn right onto the L4209 towards Inistioge, you will see fingerpost signs along the road towards the Deerpark car park first and the Raheendonore car park sign will be further down the road.

Things to do

A direct 7.5 km route up and down to the summit of Brandon Hill, Unfortunately no Dogs are allowed on the open ground due to sheep on hillside.

The Brandon Hill Summit Loop – 7.5 km – Strenuous – 350m climb – 2 to 3 hours – green & white marker.
