Overview

A very pleasant short loop walk in Ballard Wood just outside Laragh, Co. Wicklow. That takes a meandering path through the woods and along the banks of the Avonmore River to view Jacksons Falls. Returns via an old track locally known as Kevin’s Road which was used in the past as a mass/ school path to Laragh.

On the L6086 just after Ballard bridge, there is only a small layby at the forest entrance with space for 2 to 4 cars.
