Castlepook Wind Farm:  The wind farm is a joint venture between Coillte and ESB which is currently in construction in the Ballyhoura Forest in Co. Cork. The wind farm was granted planning permission in 2013 and construction began in May 2016 and is scheduled to enter commercial operations in 2018.

Homes powered Annually: Approximately 17,000 homes

Energy Produced: c.100,000 MWh

Number of Turbines: 14 Nordex Turbines

Type of Turbine: Nordex N90
