Coolmelagh has great views, and from various vantage points you can see the surrounding countryside of Wexford, Carlow and Wicklow. You also get a great view of Mount Leinster and the nearby towns of Bunclody and Carnew.

Walk: Coolmelagh offers many walks on forest roads, one of these is a waymarked looped walk; The Prospect Loop (5.5 km, 2 hrs, moderate) fine views of lush countryside in Counties Wicklow, Carlow and Wexford can be had from this walk.
