May, 10, 2021: Construction works to begin for Avondale house and forest park redevelopment.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Coillte, in partnership with F\u00e1ilte Ireland, are pleased to announce the commencement of construction works to re-develop Avondale Forest Park and House into a state-of-the-art visitor destination in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

With the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions on non-essential construction the first phase of construction is set to begin at Avondale in mid-May.<\/p>\n

The forest park will remain open throughout the construction. However, certain pathways and walkways will be restricted to the public as construction works get underway.<\/p>\n

Construction works are set to continue throughout the year with an opening date of the newly re-developed Avondale House and Forest Park expected in the spring of 2022.<\/p>\n

Coillte asks the public to abide by all signage in place in the forest park.<\/p>\n
