Planning in respect of the proposed windfarm at Slieve Bawn, Strokestown, County Roscommon, is progressing.

A consultation evening in respect of the proposed windfarm was held in March, and feedback in respect of the development was received that evening and in the months that followed.

The proposals for Slieve Bawn have now been revised, and the latest public information leaflet in respect of the project is now available.

A further consultation evening will take place on Tuesday, September 14^th, at the Percy French Hotel, Strokestown, Co Roscommon, from 4pm to 9pm. As with the meeting earlier this year staff from Coillte, members of the engineering team from Jennings O'Donovan & Partners, and representatives of Wind Prospect Ireland Ltd will be on hand to explain all matters relating to the proposal and to answer any questions.
